For Those Asking About VP Osinbajo's Whereabouts ...Here Is What He's Been Doing

In the past few days, Nigerians, both home and abroad have been asking about the whereabouts of the vice president, Yemi Osinbajo’s as he seems to be on sabbatical leave from the running of the country and managing the ravaging pandemic, Covid-19. There were even claims from cynics that the President, Mohammodu Buhari has made him redundant and become of no value.
However, news reaching benconews has revealed that those insinuations are far from the truth. Findings made by this news platform revealed that the calculative and strategic lawyer by profession has been working from the inside unknown to people, supporting in administrative running of the government and having some meetings with the international bodies on how best to solve the deadly Covid-19.
And to give credence to our findings, luckily the VP issued a statement yesterday to clarify the buzz surrounding his whereabouts.
In the statement, Osinbajo said he’s been having teleconference meetings back to back on options for meeting the economic challenges posed by COVID-19.
Osinbajo said: “Yesterday, We had two teleconference meetings back to back on options for meeting the economic challenges posed by COVID-19. The first with the IMF team, and the second with the World Bank.
“Later, another teleconference meeting with the US Ambassador in Nigeria, the deputy ambassador and representatives of the US Centers for Disease Control, where we looked at the best practices on structures for executing effective responses to pandemics.
