9 years later, Davido celebrates the first song that introduced him to the Nigerian music industry

Nigeria music sensation Davido is celebrating 9 years of making a huge statement in the music scene following the release of his first single which was a hit song.

The record label owner took the music industry by storm when he dropped his first single titled 'Back When' in May 2011. It was a breakthrough song for the singer. The song which featured renowned rapper, Naeto C was on repeat across different radio stations and music channels in the country. DJs played the song in clubs and every Nigerian youth had the song on their mobile phones. Reminiscing to the hit song that intoduced him to the Nigerian music space 9 years ago, Davido took to his official Twitter page to remind fans that he has come a long way and promised to make it a bigger celebration by 2021 when he will be marking his 10 years of dropping his first music single.
